The Alliance Global MBA is a double degree program where participants receive an MBA degree from their home institution plus a Master of Global Management (MGM) degree from Tulane University. Students and alumni of partner MBA, EMBA, and PMBA programs enroll in six modules focused on global strategy to complete the double degree requirements. They travel to five different countries with a cohort of classmates from Latin America, Asia, and the US. Five modules are offered in one-week intensive executive format. The consulting project module continues over 5 months.

Applicants must be students or graduates of a Master in Management program at Universidad de Los Andes, IESA, ITAM, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tulane University or Baltic Management Institute Applicants must have at least six years of managerial experience Applicants must be proficient in English Students enrolled in the Global Management dual-degree program must complete the requirements for both degrees in order to receive either degree MBA Alumni at Universidad de Los Andes, within the past eight years are eligible to apply to the Global MBA

Curriculum and Program Structure
  • The GMBA program structure uses core coursework from the partner MBA, EMBA, and PMBA programs and apply the core coursework credits toward the Master of Global Management (MGM)
  • This double degree program would require the completion of 6 modules taken beyond (or incorporated in) the MBA curriculum. Five modules are offered in one-week intensive executive format. A global consulting project module continues over 5 months.
  • The modules would be theme or problem based and would be hosted by a partner school. For example, the curriculum would include a theme-based module focused on cross-cultural management offered at Tulane University. In this module participants work in international teams to address problems of managing people internationally and issues of ethics and leadership.
Other modules would be focused on international finance, global supply chains, global strategy, negotiations, as examples shown below.
